Averland® SM
Delivers a larger zone of nematode protection through in-season chemigation
Averland® SM delivers a larger zone of nematode protection through in-season chemigation by moving deeper into the soil profile, placing the active ingredient directly in the root zone where nematodes are most active. Powered by Vive’s Soil Mobile Allosperse® Technology, it improves soil movement while minimizing binding to soil particles, resulting in more consistent coverage, deeper protection, and enhanced in-season control. Compared to Vydate®, it provides more reliable pest protection while remaining a less hazardous, economically viable solution.
Active Ingredient Content
Abamectin - 1.02 lb/gal
Group 6 Nematicide/Insecticide/Miticide

-
Broadcast application delivers consistent soil coverage, placing the active ingredient around the tubers and root zone where damage occurs, leaving fewer places for pests to avoid exposure.
-
An alternative to Vydate® spray programs, this targeted application delivers longer-lasting soil protection while simplifying nematode management and lowering total program cost.
-
Optimized for hassle-free chemigation, it easily applies through drip, pivot, and overhead irrigation, making it well-suited for large-acre operations and growers without in-furrow equipment.
-
Allows for flexibility in season instead of locking in decisions at planting.
-
Works well for large acres and for growers without in-furrow equipment.

Soil Mobile (SM) Allosperse® Technology

SM solutions deliver a larger zone of protection in-season for better pest defense.
Benefits of Soil Mobile (SM) Technology:
- Water-insoluble active ingredients bind to organic matter and minerals in soil, limiting their effectiveness to the top layer.
- Soil Mobile Allosperse® coats the active ingredient, reducing its interaction with soil particles.
- This coating allows the active ingredient to move with water deeper into the soil profile.
- Movement stops once the soil dries, and the Soil Mobile Allosperse irreversibly collapses (This feature eliminates the risk of leaching).
