Twenty Years Strong: Vive's 2027 Kickoff
Twenty years ago, Vive started with a few scientists and an idea worth exploring. Today we're a team of more than 75 people delivering products to growers across the U.S. and Canada. So, when the whole company came together in Halifax, Nova Scotia, to kick off 2027, there was a lot to celebrate.
Our annual Kickoff meeting is the one time each year that everyone across all functions of the company leaves their offices, labs and territories to spend a few days in the same room.
At this year’s Kickoff, we started by reflecting on the year behind us: what went well, what was harder than expected, and what milestones defined the year. We grew Vive's presence in the market and delivered results that set us up for the most ambitious year yet. From expanding our commercial team in Canada to the launch of six new products, 2026 proved itself as a milestone in Vive’s history.
We laid out some of the priorities that will help get us there:
- Building our presence in Canada
- Delivering new products to the US portfolio
- Strengthening our product pipeline
- Driving commercial excellence
- Leveraging AI capabilities to help our teams go further
- Pursuing opportunities that will shape our next decade
Of course, Kickoff is also a chance to slow down and celebrate together. From our opening reception, celebrating Vive’s 20th anniversary as we overlooked the Halifax Harbour, to our awards ceremony where we celebrated achievements from 2026, the team was given an opportunity to recognize the people behind last year's results and spend time with colleagues often only seen on a screen.

Having everyone in one room to look back on what we accomplished, figure out what's next, and celebrate together is something we protect. We came to Halifax to celebrate twenty years, and we left on the same page for what comes next.
