From the Field: Trials, Field Days, and Grower Stories
There's no substitute for a season in the field. Every Vive product starts with a promise: that our technology can make a trusted active ingredient work harder for growers. Summer is when we find out if that promise holds up, not in a lab, but in real fields, under real weather conditions, with real growers watching the results row by row. This season, our team has been out scouting trials, talking shop at field days, and capturing what customers are saying firsthand about how Vive solutions are performing where it counts.
Here's a look at what's been happening across fields this summer:
Field Trials Under Watch
Vive field trials are spread across multiple sites and regions, covering a range of crops, pests, and disease issues to put products and new concepts to the test under real-world conditions. Across the board, we're looking at the same core objectives: how do our enhanced solutions perform in the field compared to the generic active ingredients growers already trust, how consistently that performance holds up across different soil types, weather, and stressors, and whether the products deliver the kind of practical, everyday value growers rely on: efficacy, ease of use, less rain wash-off, tank-mix compatibility... the list goes on.
Some highlights from field scouting so far:
- An in-furrow application of AZteroid® FC 3.3 fungicide on corn in Nebraska has delivered significantly larger root mass, stronger stalk health, and improved early-season emergence.
- Averland® FC nematicide applied in-furrow on soybeans has reduced nematode activity at planting, promoting uniform emergence and minimizing stand loss.
- A foliar application of Phobos® FC fungicide on meadowfoam in Oregon has provided uniform leaf coverage that helps achieve consistent disease protection.
Field Days with Customers
Over the past month, our territory sales managers have had the opportunity to attend several field days, discussing the latest innovations, current field conditions, and where Vive products have a fit.

Conclusion
